PhD student

Anne-Laure Iger (1991) is presently a PhD mini-ARC fellow at Faculté d'Architecture of ULB. She graduated from École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Bretagne, France (2014). Her research focuses on architectural exhibitions envisaged as tools for the political involvement of the practice. She is questioning the operativity of this mediation on the basis of a study of curatorial gestures in the light of Brussels urban debates.
At the moment, she is studying fabulations and speculations that tension the “images” of the European Union and the forms of its Brussels enclave through curatorial narratives. She is also working on a feminist podcast, untitled GEM, dedicated to gestures, involvements and mediation on architectural practice.
